In need of a hardware piece.

Postby stack » Sat Jan 26, 2008 8:44 pm

So I was attempting a processor upgrade and dropped a piece of the fan casing off the table...and it busted! Dah...
Anyway, I can't seem to find anyone that sells just this piece so before I buy a new heatsink/fan I figured I would ask here.
If you look at the picture ( http://www.intel.com/support/processors/pentium4/Img/figure14.jpg ) its the D (Clip Frame Corners) piece that is also shown alone with the B and E diagram. Does anyone have a spare piece to give or sell?

I have had to replace that piece before. I bought a replacement from Electronic Discount Sales http://www.electronicdiscountsales.com/. I went in and bought one for less than 5 dollars, but I
don't remember the exact cost.

-WARNING!!!!!!-

If you can't walk into a surplus store and walk out again with only the intended part purchased,
this store can be dangerous to your pocketbook, the amount of free space you have available,
and your relationship with significant other if they haven't been bitten by the computer (or junk)
bug.
