You need JavaScript enabled to view it I've tried to make contact with the people at yahoo and asked for help, (things have probably changed since 2 years ago when I tried before), and they may fix it for me and if they do, we can start using it again.  I'll post any changes or updates here when I find out.  Sorry for my neglect but bear with me I'll try and make amends.

What about the FtWorthLUG on YahooGroups?
We previously had a mail list and group hosted on Yahoo.com. The YahooGroups mail list was abandoned in March 2007 due to excessive spam and Yahoo's unwillingness to do much about it. Additionally, the current maintainer of our website does not have the administrative access necessary to eliminiate spammers. Use the above link if you wish to sign-up for the mail list or sign-up for access to our web forum.

How do I post a message?
Once you have a Google account, click on the "Apply For Group Membership" link. You can then send email to (Terry! What's the e-mail address for the group? This the old Yahoo: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Or, you can go to the group website and post a message from there.

 

How do I unsubscribe?
Terry - what do they need to do here to unsubscribe? You can visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FtWorthLUG/join to change your subscription so that the email is not sent to you. It will be kept in an archive there where you can browse it whenever you like.

 

What can I post ?
You can post any question, answer, or information relevant to linux or the Fort Worth Linux Users Group. This group has been declared safe for kids, so please keep it clean and friendly.

 

If you have a linux or computer related business and wish to make a commercial announcement, you are welcome to do so, but please place reasonable limits on such announcements. Once per month would be reasonable.
