Aisleriot solitaire for Windows

As I may have mentioned before, I have created a card set for Aisleriot solitaire (the solitaire game that comes in the gnome-games package). I would like to share this with friends who still use Windows.

Some time ago, there was a Win32 compiled version of the game but isn't being maintained for now. There are instructions for compiling under Windows and stuff, but I don't actually have a Windows system on which I can do any of this.

I was wondering if anyone here may have what is needed to do the compile?

Isn't there a way to cross-compile under Linux? I've heard of doing this, but have never actually attempted it.

Anyone?
