Posted: Sun May 03, 2009 7:16 pmA coworker brought me a Vista laptop the other day. It had serious security. On boot up, it went to a blue screen with a stop code.
That was secure. Couldn't get in at all. However ...
Google sent me to a website where an enterprising gentleman described using Linux to fix the C1F5 stop code problem.

I enjoyed telling the laptop's owner that I used Linux to fix Windows. hah!
