Firewalls

Postby stack » Mon Jan 12, 2009 9:49 am

At the meeting there was a good sized group of us talking about firewalls. However, I can not remember the one that was suggested for me to try. So I hit up wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Li ... tributions ) but that didn't jog my memory any.

So, anyone else remember?

If not, please post the firewalls you use. Currently I am using Smoothwall but am getting a bit frustrated with the plug-ins not working and how difficult it has been to work on recently. When it works, it is really nice!

Thanks!

Rusty suggested Untangle and I had mentioned the FreeBSD-based pfSense. Of course, there was IPCop, too. :) Does that help?
