Just so everyone knows, you can link your avatar to the board, but you cannot upload it!

It appears to be a (common?) problem with this software (phpBB). We don't have a solution as of yet. If you know something we don't, please post it!

Thanks!

Thanks, I was wondering about why I got the message about the file type of .jpg, .gif, or .png.

You can e-mail them to me, if you like.

Or... If you guys have an avatar set that you think people would like, e-mail them to me or send me a link where I can download them. It only takes a couple of minutes to set up a new gallery.

I'd like to get the upload feature working, but haven't had much time to work on it.

I'm sure that you could send in any type of photo that you have, handy. I hope that you don't mind it being CROPPED to proper size requirements, so image quality may suffer. That in mind, consider what will be "cropped" off....

Thanks for asking

PS
Please submit your favorite, web page, mail digest, or other linux "notes/tips", for a Linux Link page.
Its not fancy, but it will not drop the information, until the link becomes invalid.
