FWLUG Phone Number Has Changed!
Posted: Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:54 pmEffective 31 March 2008, the Fort Worth Linux Users Group has a new phone number! The number is 817-855-0670.
By default, it's an interactive voice menu with three options. The options are:
1) This selection will give you general information regarding the meeting times and location
2) This options allows callers to leave a voice mail message. It's on an extension that I have set up so they may request more information and/or to report problems with the website. This could potentially be changed during meeting times where we have a VoIP phone set up at the meeting location for folks trying to find us.
3) This option takes you to the conference bridge. Any member can call in and speak to other members pretty much 24 hours a day. We may or may not keep this feature, though. I may not have enough bandwidth to keep it going if too many people are on at once. We may have to establish a conference PIN, also. For now, it's open to anyone.
I have already updated all the web pages to reflect the new number. Give it a try and please let me know if you encounter any problems!
